Medical Student Mentorship in Produce Prescription Programs (2019) - Description of a small pilot designed to both increase support for patients’ dietary change and integrated food & nutrition into clinical training.

CSA Partnerships for Health - impact on dietary behavior (2020)
Medically Tailored Food Pantry:
Use of Monthly Food Boxes in Treating Type 2 Diabetes (2020) - Measures behavior change as regards type 2 diabetes risk. Found change in behavior, no change in BMI. Pilot program.
Use of Twice Monthly Food in Treating Type 2 Diabetes (2019) - Change in HbA1c and in dietary quality assessment, no change in BMI. Randomized control trial.
Use of Twice Monthly Food in Treating Type 2 Diabetes (2018) - Found changes in reported food security, but no change in HbA1c or self-management. Randomized control trial.
Clinic-Based Food Pharmacy (2018) - Primarily investigating blood pressure reduction in uninsured patients using a free clinic set up for chronic disease management. BP reduced in patients who began with higher BP and used the program 4+ times. Pilot program.
