White House Conference on Hunger - Update

This September, the White House is hosting a conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health.

The regional stakeholder listening sessions taking place ahead of this conference are currently full. A new opportunity will be opened to offer input on June 15th, with registration available early next week. There will also be opportunities for organizations to host their own listening sessions. The Conference website provides a link to register for updates.

There has been a space added on the website for individuals who have experienced hunger and/or heart disease, hypertension, or other diet-related disease and organizations working on these issues to share their ideas and stories.

Some organizations are sharing materials related to their priorities for this conference and the upcoming Farm Bill ahead of the listening sessions. See, for example, information from the Food Is Medicine Coalition, Fair Food Network, and the National Produce Prescription Coalition.
